Following the success of the 2016 Sydney conference Dance Teaching for the 21st Century: Practice and Innovation, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is presenting a second conference to be held 20-21 January 2018 at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Brisbane. The conference, Unravelling Repertoire, seeks to explore histories, pedagogies and practices associated with repertory works.
The RAD is seeking presentation submissions from dance professionals, educators and researchers, including dance teachers, lecturers, repetiteurs and notators, historians, musicologists and scholars, from across a variety of dance disciplines and forms to discuss the role, function, and impact of repertoire in the contexts of dance as art, education, culture, and history.
Further information can be found at www.rad.org.au/Conference2018 and also in the Call for Papers document below.
Closing date for submissions is 1 September 2017.
