Ausdance Qld is thrilled to offer a one day dance development workshop in Integrated Dance Practice with internationally acclaimed chorographer
Judith Wright Centre – Friday September 30
Open to professional and community artists of all abilities
Marc is the Artistic Director of Marc Brew Company and his recent choreographic commissions include Candoco Dance Company, AXIS Dance Company, Touch Compass, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery, GDance and Scottish Ballet.
As a choreographer Marc seeks to challenge and be challenged. Grounded in contemporary technique and classical ballet and drawing on the unique physicality of each performer, Marc’s work with disabled and non-disabled artists is honest, unsentimental and recognisably human. Providing the dancers with a new vocabulary that enhances their creativity, he tries to redefine expectations of physicality for both performers and audiences.
Marc is currently Associate Director with Ballet Cymru and Associate Artist at Tramway theatre in Glasgow where he is based, and Guest Artistic Director at AXIS Dance Company.
