Ausdance Queensland is proud to be part of a new statewide approach to supporting regional artists through the Regional Arts Services Network (RASN)

From 2026–2027, we’ll be providing free, tailored support to dancers, choreographers, teachers and dance organisations across regional Queensland.

What does this means for you?
You can now access:

  • One-on-one advice for your dance practice or projects
  • Support with career pathways and professional development
  • Connections to opportunities, networks and industry knowledge
  • Guidance tailored specifically to the dance sector

A new approach
RASN introduces a new way of working, by connecting artists with artform specialists across the state, rather than limiting support by location. That means no matter where you live, you can access dance-specific expertise and support.

Meet our Regional Arts Advisor | Leilani Seeto

Leilani is a passionate arts educator, creative producer, and community arts advocate with over eighteen years’ experience working with children and young people across education, community, and the performing arts. With a proud Melanesian heritage (Finni/Anir Island and Kavieng of Papua New Guinea), Taiwanese and European ancestry, Leilani brings a culturally grounded and inclusive approach to her work.

As founder and director of Arts with Leilani Beth, she is committed to expanding access to high-quality arts opportunities for children and communities across regional and remote Queensland. Based in Toowoomba, she looks forward to supporting artists, educators and communities statewide.

LEILANI'S GOING ON THE ROAD!

Leilani is travelling to multiple destinations across Queensland in May and June, hosting informal gatherings to provide an introduction to RASN. Leilani will be joined by fellow Regional Arts Advisors Jessica Lamb and Cass Ramsay (Theatre), Grace Dewar (Visual Arts) and Shannon Garson (Arts and Crafts) at select destinations.

This is an opportunity to meet with in person and find out how RASN can support your work, ideas and projects. It’s also a chance to connect with other creatives and arts workers in your region and if you’d like, share what’s happening locally and what’s needed.

Leilani is planning her next set of regional visits. If you’d like to schedule a visitin your area, contact her directly here.
