Across her career, as both a professional dancer and educator, Teagan has been a strong advocate for safe, sustainable and healthy dance practice in Australia. Her work focuses on building environments where dancers can thrive artistically while being supported as whole people.
Teagan brings extensive experience in dancer education, health, wellbeing and sector leadership, having spent many years working across elite training environments and the broader dance community. Most recently, she has served as Health & Wellbeing Manager at The Australian Ballet School, where she led a multidisciplinary team supporting the physical, psychological and social wellbeing of young dancers.
Teagan is passionate about strengthening the dance sector across Queensland — supporting studios, artists, educators and organisations through professional development, resources, advocacy, and sector connection.
As Executive Director, she will lead Ausdance QLD into its next chapter, with a focus on sector growth, safe dance education, child safe practice and expanding support for the dance community across the state.
