Legal Partnership Announcement

Ausdance QLD announces a ground-breaking professional services partnership worth over $100,000 with Solomons Legal, a Brisbane-based professional services firm with a strong commitment to integrity, care and client-focused service. This strategic partnership will provide much-needed support to Queensland’s performing arts sector and will provide Ausdance QLD organisational members with direct free introductory access to legal and financial services. 

Ausdance QLD is the peak body & industry association for dance in Queensland. With nearly 1800 members and growing, Ausdance QLD’s understanding of member needs is substantial.  The need for greater understanding of legal frameworks, compliance, financial structures and business planning will strengthen the capability and sustainability of the sector; from First Nations Cultural groups to independent dance producers, dance studio owners and professional companies.

 The partnership with Solomons Legal, will provide Ausdance QLD organisational members[1] with an hour free/pro bono legal advice and an hour free/pro bono financial advice per year as well as unlimited access to their high-quality templates (in development) to refine and elevate dance businesses.

The services will be available to organisational members and First Nations Cultural group members of Ausdance QLD (organisational membership costs $100 per year). Solomons Legal and Ausdance QLD will work together to create and deliver tailored business resources, templates and training to support member operations and prioritise creation of resources based on member needs.
