About Ausdance QLD

Ausdance QLD was established in 1992 and provides professional advocacy and industry development for Queensland dance through strong local, regional, national and international networks. We work to bring recognition to the many roles that dance plays in the cultural life of Queensland and to maximise opportunities for practitioners.

Ausdance QLD Sectors

Ausdance QLD advocates and supports dancers across many sectors all over Queensland and across Austalia with the support of Ausdance National.

EDUCATION

The classroom is where people first find their love of dance.

Ausdance QLD supports dance educators and teachers who work across pre-schools, primary and high schools, the private dance studio sector and communities.

COMMUNITY

GET QUEENSLAND DANCING!

Ausdance QLD is working towards a world where all Queenslanders have access to inclusive dancing opportunities. We know anecdotally and through health research that recreational dancing leads to healthier and happier communities. We also believe that dancing for the sake of movement and creativity is just as important.

ARTISTS

Ausdance QLD is here to support dancers through every stage of their careers, with professional development, creative opportunities and one-to-one career navigation.
