Ausdance QLD is the Peak Body for dance in the state. We offer our members a range of services and opportunities to grow their dance practice, networks, knowledge and or enterprise.

Membership provides benefits including access to member’s only resources and content, customisable profile and business listing in our member directory and the ability to list and promote activities and events on the Member-listed events page.

As the state’s peak body for dance, we rely on our membership to understand the needs and issues currently facing the sector. A strong and diverse membership gives us the evidence we need to advocate for dance in Queensland and shows the economic, cultural and social of dance for the state.

Advocacy & Representation

• Opportunities to participate in forums, conversations and data collection activities to advocate for dance issues at local, state and federal government levels.
Be represented when advocating to Government and industry stakeholders.
Join the conversation and participate in the development of regulation and policy on dancers’ rights such as regulations, best practice, health and well-being and fair wages.
• Members can join sub-committees and advisory groups, such as the the AEQ (Ausdance Educators Queensland) which champions sector projects and specific sector issues.
