HOTA, Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast are offering cash, space and resources to help artists create, develop and collaborate in 2020.

HOTA's Creative Development Program will help artists connected to the Gold Coast region to take risks, experiment and create great art.

In 2019, the first year of the program, HOTA received more than 254 applications covering art forms such as theatre, dance, music, public art and film. This year, the program is seeking projects in three focus areas – HOTA Program, (projects with a pathway towards presentation at HOTA), Collaborations at Carriageworks (projects that would benefit from co-development between HOTA and Carriageworks in Sydney) or Open Proposals (projects that don’t fit into either of the other categories, or are at concept stage).
