Australia Council suspended many investment programs and repurposed all available uncommitted funds from this financial year to immediately respond to the COVID-19 crisis. The Resilience Fund has been created to provide immediate relief to Australian artists, arts workers and arts organisations and support their livelihoods, practice and operations.
· Survive - small grants for individuals, groups and organisations to offset or recoup financial losses due to cancelled activity.
· Adapt - grants for individuals, groups and organisations to adapt their practice and explore new operating models.
Create - grants for individuals, groups and organisations to continue to create artistic work and develop creative responses in a time of disruption.
CREATE - $10,000 Individuals - $20,000 Organisations

Create grants enable individuals, groups and organisations to continue creating artistic work and/or develop creative responses in this time of disruption.
For existing work, we will support activities at all stages of development including research, creative development and presentation.
For new work, we particularly welcome creative and innovative projects that build community participation, connection and cohesion, particularly for underrepresented diverse communities and those with less access to resources and opportunities.
Proposals should be considerate of COVID-19 gathering restrictions. Your activity should last no longer than two years from the proposed start date.
