Sydney Dance Company invites tertiary dance students, graduates and professional dancers aged 18+ to apply for this valuable opportunity with Australia’s leading contemporary dance company. Both Australian and international dancers are encouraged to apply.
The one-week program includes daily technique classes, creative development and the opportunity to learn Sydney Dance Company repertoire. Participants will also have a chance to watch the Company perform in Season One (Bonachela / Forsythe) at the Roslyn Packer Theatre.
Dancers with a desire to extend their training in a professional contemporary dance environment are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will be notified by email on the outcome of their application. Sydney Dance Company may make offers prior to the application closing date of Monday 16 March 2020, therefore applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Sydney Dance Company is unable to assist international dancers with visa processes, however no study visa is required to participate in the one week Professional Intensive.
