Spend time with Australasian Dance Collective’s Artistic Director, Amy Hollingsworth, the incredible ADC ensemble dancers and some very special guest facilitators as we explore both sides of the camera and how we make compelling dance for the screen.

In this year’s Winter CDI, you will be taken behind the scenes of two of ADC’s stunning new dance films - Cass Mortimer Eipper’s Liminal and Jack Lister and Ryan Renshaw’s Still Life. Learn to create movement for the screen using different choreographic techniques, as well as framing and editing.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to learn repertoire directly from our talented and inspiring ADC dancers, honing your technique and developing your physical vocabulary. At the completion of this CDI, you will have gained not only an appreciation for the way digital dance is produced, but the practical skills to be able to create and edit your own dance films and audition videos.
