Workshop | Understanding and Managing Foot & Ankle Injuries in Dancers

Foot and Ankle workshop is a 3 day, in-depth exploration of the dancer's foot, as well as the influences of dynamic hip stability and functional core control on foot dynamics. It is perfect for dance educators, as well as Health Practitioners and high level dance teachers. You will leave armed with many tools and techniques to help dancers suffering with all types of foot injuries.  Lisa has been working almost exclusively with dancers for the last 2 decades and has distilled the learnings from her extensive clinical work into this course.

  • Do dancers struggle with frequent foot and ankle injuries that put them out of action at the worst possible times?

  • What if there was a way to prevent many common injuries, and ensure the best possible healing of any current issues?

You will learn how to assess the dancer's foot in detail, effectively manage current foot injuries, and gain an in-depth understanding of how to avoid many preventable injuries in dancers. The course includes multiple taping techniques and rehabilitation guides to help dancers suffering with foot injuries recover as quickly as possible.
